Glass Corner by Peter Hoffman

Glass Corner by Peter Hoffman features photographs of apedestrianintersection made through a single window over the course of one winter. The series is a meditation on surface, gesture, and color, which we built upon by interspersing colored paper throughout the work, beginning with the book’s covers, which were produced in three combinations.

For a cost effective execution, we selected a palette of our desired paper stock from leftovers on hand at the printer. The book’s signatures were wrapped from a mixed stack of colored sheets, creating unique color combinations within each book.

White ink was used throughout, allowing images to be printed directly onto colored pages without altering their tone.

The minimal back cover is stamped with a clear gloss foil, evoking the icy windows depicted in Hoffman’s photographs.
